Filth and WisdomDirected by Madonna, 2008 Review by Rada Djurica Madonna's directing debut, Filth and Wisdom, illustrates the
philosophy of Western success: "to go up you must go down first."
This is a cute little comedy/drama about bohemians struggling to become
someone. Everything in this film centers on the witty dialogue, which
might be Madonna's attempt to show how well she learned British slang
during her prolonged stay in the UK and her marriage to an English man,
Guy Ritchie. |
